Welcome!

We are open daily from 8:30 until 3:10. Students come to the library on their regularly-scheduled day for a 35-minute session, which includes: a review of checked-out and overdue books and either a mini lesson involving information literacy or technology, or promotion of favorite books and authors with read alouds and book talks.

Students are also welcome to visit before and after school and during specified open times to renew, return, check out or conduct research.

Students are asked to return books on their library day if they are finished so they may check out new books. Longer novels and research books may be renewed as long as needed.

Our mission is threefold:

• to promote and teach information literacy and technology skills in a collaborative environment

• to encourage a lifelong love of books and reading

• to support classroom instruction with books and materials that help students best meet their learning objectives.
